Welcome to Westview Beach House, set on beautiful Lambert Channel against the backdrop of Denman and Vancouver Islands. This contemporary West Coast home enjoys a quiet and secluded white sand beach and the sunny west side of Hornby Island, making the most of endless summer days, magnificent sunsets and magical star-filled nights.
The bright and airy great room features warm wood accents and generous creature comforts. Enjoy cooking in the large well-appointed kitchen. Retreat to the master bedroom with its water views and luxurious ensuite, the perfect space to relax and unwind. Two more bedrooms, another full bathroom and an outdoor shower with a glorious view gives everyone their own serenity and peace.
Enjoy the large outdoor deck and two lower patios, perfect for watching passing orca pods, seals, and eagles. The private white sand beach below with its gradual drop makes easy work of launching kayaks and paddle boards and provides easy access for swimming whenever the mood strikes. From here you can walk south to Shingle Spit or north to Phipps Point, an endless playground for beachcombers of all ages.
Nearby Mount Geoffrey offers spectacular trails for hiking and biking and the Jeffrey Rubinoff Sculpture Park is close at hand for more cerebral kinds of fun. Convenience to the ferry landing means you are sure to never miss the next sailing again. Whatever adventures your day entails, plan to finish each one by watching the most spectacular sunsets from the comfort of your Hornby retreat.

- If the Guest cancels more than 60 days prior to the arrival date, all monies paid are refundable only if and when the same dates are rebooked.
- If the Guest cancels 60 days or less prior to the arrival date, all monies collected are non-refundable.
- All cancellations are subject to an administration fee of $150.

About host
Pat grew up in Vancouver and moved to Hornby in 2010 to follow his husband Michael's dream to live on a Gulf Island, echoing the earlier footsteps of Michael's English grandmother who courageously bought a small rustic cottage sight-unseen in the Lake of the Woods in Western Ontario ,where she shared her love for nature with her two kids. Michael spent childhood summers swimming, canoeing, and running barefoot outdoors, forging an indelible connection to the peace and joy Nature brings.
After managing their own home rental on Hornby for 7 years, a couple of friends asked them to take care of  their home too.  As is the way with islands, word spread quickly and within a couple of years, My Hornby Stay was born. Since then they have happily cared for some special island homes and now enjoy the great pleasure of hosting the wonderful families who return to Hornby each year.
